The Grabber HTS is the flagship of the General Grabber line and it incorporates 4 key technologies that enhance the performance of this tire.

1. Duragen - Ultra-high strength steel belts, micro fiber casing reinforcements, and broader tire contour provides even wear, longer mileage and confidence in challenging conditions.

2. Adaptive Performance - Response Grooves, Stabilink Bars and 3 kinds of siping for enhances steering response and reliable performance

3. Comfort Balance - a tread cushioning and noise capturing system for a quieter, more comfortable ride.

4. Eco-Ride - Improved tire compound increases fuel economy and minimizes CO2 emissions.
My tires came from Tire Rack because I was able to save a significant amount of money and because these tires weren't available in my local area.

Compared to the Bridgestone tires which were available for me locally, I saved over $200 on the set when it was all said and done.  The tires were shipped right to my door (you can have them drop shipped to your installer if you wish).  I found several places willing to mount them for me but if you have trouble, TireRack can supply you with the names and prices for installation by partner installers in your area.

There was another online retailer I checked out but Tire Rack has the online credibility that you can trust to deliver just what you ordered.
I saved $50 by ordering the same tire online and over $200 over a competitor’s tire available locally
Consumer Reports Rates These Tires BEST

I can't link to the Consumer Reports rating table but I can give you the press release from Reuters.
Consumer Reports Press Release  Consumer Reports is an unbiased, independent testing firm that provides consumers with test results across many competitive products.  These tests allow consumers to see how products perform relative to other similar products including functionality, reliability and overall usefulness.
Buying Tires Online

This is the first time I have bought tires online. I was almost talked out of it by a local dealer until I did my homework. We were visiting family and since were were going to be traveling back over 500 miles I was considering getting the tires put on while we were away. The dealer quoted me $575 for a set of 4 and he would not budge on the price. I told him what  I found online and he then tried to convince me that no one would put the tires on for me.

I checked out what he said and I called tire dealers. Both said they would put the tires on quite reasonably without any problem. I also found recommended partners in my location and locations all over the country that will put the tires on for you listed on the website.

Your local guys may try to talk you out of it but I saved about $50 by ordering the Grabbers online. Compared to the Bridgestones which are rated lower but are available to me locally I saved about $212 That's about 8% off the local Grabber's price and 29% off the local Bridgestone price.  This includes tax and and extra shipping because I needed them quickly and the local warehouse had temporarily run out. You may also be able to save the state sales tax by ordering online.

I've been researching the best tires for my SUV and I am very impressed with the General Grabber HTS. This tire is rated number one by Consumer Reports and by Tire Rack. (Consumer Reports actually tested on an F-150 so these are great for trucks too)
My life and my family'’s lives are riding on my tires so I want the best and these tires are amazing. Tire Rack performed 22 tests on these next to Bridgestone and Pirelli - no slouches in tire performance. The Grabber HTS was top in EVERY test. Not only that but General engineered these with low rolling resistance meaning better gas mileage and better for the environment. AND they are priced affordably.
